Three days of frontal sinus surgery

Across three days, the programme combines expert lectures, case-based discussion, CT-based surgical planning and hands-on training using life-like 3D-printed models. Each day integrates theoretical teaching with practical exercises, live faculty demonstrations and operative video review.

  1. Day 1

    Wednesday 2 June

    Anatomy · Imaging · Planning

    • Frontal sinus anatomy and anatomical variations
    • Frontal recess classification and CT assessment
    • Surgical planning and approaches to the frontal sinus
    • Introduction to 3D-based surgical planning
    • Hands-on dissection of patient-based 3D-printed models

  2. Day 2

    Thursday 3 June

    Frontal Sinus Surgery · Extended Approaches

    • Advanced frontal sinus surgery and surgical decision-making
    • Septal anatomy and its relationship to the frontal sinus
    • EMLP / Draf III and extended frontal sinus approaches
    • Postoperative management
    • Case-based CT planning and hands-on dissection
    • Live faculty demonstrations and operative video review

  3. Day 3

    Friday 4 June

    Advanced Surgery · Complications · Challenging Anatomy

    • Endotype-based management of chronic rhinosinusitis
    • Biologic treatment of CRSwNP
    • DCR and related endoscopic approaches
    • Complications and complication avoidance
    • CSF leak and management
    • Frontal drill-out / EMLP
    • Prelacrimal approach
    • Advanced case-based planning and hands-on training
